The General Fall Meeting for Matrix is coming up on the 26th of November at 4 PM in Exactum room D122. In the meeting, the Board for 2025 will be chosen including the chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, up to 6 other members of the board and 0-6 vice members of the board. We will also go through the Plan of Action and Budget for the year 2025. In addition to this, we will also select three representatives as Fresher and Tutor coordinators for the year 2025.
All members have a right to a vote at the meeting, and all non-voting/auxiliary members have a right to attend. Before the meeting, please make sure on the website on your own page that you are an official member of Matrix, if you wish to vote or apply for some position. If you haven’t paid the membership fee yet, but wish to apply for a position, please contact vice chair Hannes Flykt (Telegram: @hannesflykt) as soon as possible.
If you can’t make it to the meeting but would like to apply for a position, you can send a written Power of Attorney to the chairperson of the board before the meeting.
The meeting will have some snacks and drinks. The meeting will be held in Finnish, but accommodations are made for non-finnish speakers. You may find the meeting agenda at the end of this message.
