KJYV is here again! A huge Vappu-themed checkpoint crawl will be held this 
year on Thursday 24.4. Lots of festive checks are spread around Kumpula’s parks and bushes. After the checkpoint crawl the evening 
continues with an afterparty!

The fun begins at 4pm when the checkpoints open. They are organized by a wide assortment of Kumpulas 
student organizations. The point of the crawl is to go around the checkpoints in groups of 4-10 people. Participation is free of charge. 
Best teams will be rewarded and an extra prize will be given to the most colourful and Vappu-spirited team!

On 24th of April your team can collect maps from Physicum from 1 pm to 4 
pm. The checkpoints are open 4-9 pm, and the afterparty starts at 10 pm at Malja Helsinki. First 500 attendees can get the event overall patch 
from Malja. The prizes are awarded at 11:00 pm, so be ready with your team then! Entrance to the afterparty is free, but a cloakroom fee 
(3,5€) is required. Event is sponsored by Accenture, Loimu and TEK. Ps. Teams will get points based on how well they do on the checkpoints and 
how good their team spirit is but people holding the checkpoints may or may not also be bribed to some extend👀

Have you ever considered giving blood?

Now is the chance because Matrix is organizing a blood donation event  on 28th of april at 2pm in the Sanomatalo veripalvelu. Signing up for the event ends on 18th of april at 16 pm at the Matrix website!

With a bit of a breather from vappu, grab what's left of you and your overalls, and join forces with the computer scientists of TKO-äly as we dive head-first into Turku!

AATU is a riverside pub crawl event organized yearly in Turku since 1995. AATU (officially Akateeminen Aurajokilaivuritutkinto) is all about appreciating the wonderful riverside in Turku and also about celebrating the beginning of the summer holidays. Compared to other student events, AATU has its very own, unique and relaxed atmosphere as the participants meet up with friends to enjoy the springtime with some drinks. 

All restaurants that take part in the event are included in a special degree map that is handed out to each participant when you register on the day of the event. The degree map is in effect a map of the Turku riverside with participating restaurants clearly highlighted. The afterparty venue will this year be Marilyn + Vegas

A bus ride to Turku and back is included in the price of the ticket. We will leave by 11 AM from in front of the Chemcum building and make our way back at around 3 AM. The ticket price may change, but it's at most €33.

It’s finally here again and it is TKO-äly x Matrix tistiS!
Matrix and TKO-äly are co-organizing tistiS table party in Alina-Sali on Friday 16th of May at Alina hall in central Helsinki. tistiS means sitsit in reverse, meaning that the table party begins with the dessert and goes back from there ‘till we have eaten the three-course meal and the quests are being welcomed to the party. This is an extraordinary party you don’t want to miss!

Accessibility information: The space is accessible by lift. The doorways are narrower than 90 cm in some places, so the space is not fully accessible. There is an accessible toilet. The premises have a wheelchair that can be borrowed as well as the opportunity to use an induction loop that can be borrowed from our Services Office. Theatrical smoke is not used in Alina, but blinking lights may be used. It is possible to bring an assistance or guide dog into the premises.
